Day Five: Multiplying Fractions / Multiplying Positive and Negative Integers

Students in Math 6 worked with Lesson 1-3: Multiplying Fractions. The focus was on getting students to conceptually understand that when we multiply fractions, we are finding the part of a part. Class did work with multiplying mixed numbers by mixed numbers as well.

Math 6+ students were tasked with figuring out why multiplying a negative times a negative gives you a positive, but a positive times a negative gives you a negative.
