Day 162: Enrichment / Letter to a New Student

Math 6 students worked with a previously learned skills, ratios, in an attempt to further our understanding of the content. Our ratio topic was one that we struggled with the most and also a concept that Mr. Giomini's previous Math 6 class tested poorly on when analyzing last year's state assessment.

Math 6+ students delved into another writing assignment. This one is a letter that current Math 6+ students are writing to a student who'll have Mr. Giomini as a teacher next year. Students created a writing web with Mr. Giomini's guidance in an attempt to craft their four to five paragraph letter.
