Day 70: Math 6 - Topic Five Midpoint Prep / Math 6+ - Scale Drawing Review

Math 6 students used today to review Lessons 5.1 - 5.4 in preparation for Thursday's Topic Four Midpoint.

Math 6+ students worked with some more complex proportions that they can expect to see on the Topic Five Post-test which will be administered on Monday, December 11th.

Standards addressed today:

Math 6:

• Understand the concept of a ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities.
• Understand the concept of a unit rate a/b associated with a ratio a:b with b ≠ 0, and use rate language in the context of a ratio relationship.
• Make tables of equivalent ratios relating quantities with whole-number measurements. 
• Find missing values in the tables, and plot the pairs of values on the coordinate plane. 
• Use tables to compare ratios. 

Math 6+:

• Represent proportional relationships by equations. (Gr. 7)
