Day 52: Two-Step Equations / Solving Literal Equations
Students in Math 6, continued their work with Lesson 4.4: Write and Solve Equations with Multiplication and Division. The focus was on extending our work with one-step equations to solving two-step equations.
In Math 6+, students worked with solving a formula for an variable.
Lesson Objectives: The student will be able to...
understand solving an equation as a process.
solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form x + p = q and px = q for cases in which p, q and x are all non negative rational numbers.
