Day 90: Khan / Division Quiz / Khan

Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students briefly reviewed their Concept Four posttest from yesterday.  Once students completed the task, they were encouraged to work on Khan skills in an attempt to earn 50% mastery of 6th grade concepts.

During Math 6 - 2°, students completed a short four question quiz dealing with division of whole numbers. Once students completed the task, they were encouraged to work on Khan skills in an attempt to earn 50% mastery of 6th grade concepts.  


Students in Math 6+ were provided an opportunity to work on Khan in an attempt to earn 100% mastery of their 6th grade skills.  


If a student had already met the 100% threshold, they worked with a Scholastic magazine article dealing with percents.

Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...
  1. fluently divide multi-digit numbers. (2°)
  2. find a percent of a quantity as a rate per 100.  (7°)
  3. fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using the standard algorithm for each operation. (all classes)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to complete:
  1. Math 6(1&3°): 
    • Enjoy the long weekend
  2. Math 6(2°): 
    • Enjoy the long weekend
  3. Math 6+: 
    • Enjoy the long weekend
  4. All Classes: > 10 minutes meaningful practice at Khan Academy
