Day 83: Similar Figures / Topic Five Posttest / Similar Figures

Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students continued test preparation looking towards Thursday's posttest. In class, students worked with similar figures.

During Math 6 - 2°, students were administered the Topic Five: Patterns and Equations posttest. Grades should be posted later in the day.  

Students in Math 6+ reviewed working with similar figures.

 

Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...

1. analyze the relationship between dependent and independent variables using graphs and tables. (2°)  
2. graph linear equations. (2°)
3. use variables to represent two quantities in a real-world problem that change in relationship to one another.  (2°) 
4. recognize and represent proportional relationships between similar figures. (1, 3, and 7°)
5. fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using the standard algorithm for each operation. (all classes)

2. Math 6(2°): Work towards 50% mastery on Khan Academy (6th Grade)
3. Math 6+: Handout from Mr. Giomini
4. All Classes: m > 10 minutes meaningful practice at Khan Academy
