Day 41: Test Preparation / Graphing Inequalities / Concept Two Posttest

Today in Math 6 - 1 & 3°, students worked with concepts dealing with integers and rational numbers in preparation for tomorrow's posttest.

During Math 6 - 2°, students continued their work with writing and graphing inequalities from Friday.

Students in Math 6+ were administered the Concept Two: Integers and Rational Numbers posttest.

Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...
  1. reason about and solve one-variable equations and inequalities. (2°)
  2. solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form x + p = q and px = q for cases in which p, q and are all nonnegative rational numbers.  (2 & 7°)
  3. understand ordering and absolute value of rational numbers.  (1, 3, & 7°)
  4. fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using the standard algorithm for each operation. (all classes)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to complete:
  1. Math 6 - 1 & 3: Study for tomorrow's Concept Two: Integers and Rational Numbers posttest
  2. Math 6 - 2°:  Page 116 in enVision wkbk
  3. Math 6+: Enjoy the night off
  4. All Classes: > 10 minutes meaningful practice at Khan Academy
