Class Topics: 10.17.13

In Common Core Math Six, students in 1, 3, and 4° reviewed their Evening Practice from last night using answer keys provided by Mr. Giomini.  Before the quiz, Mr. Giomini did several problems on the board to model how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with integers.  Students then complete the assessment which Mr. Giomini will post to GBW later in the day.

Students in 2° reviewed their Evening Practice with Mr. Giomini.  Lesson 3.3: Adding Integers was introduced, modeled, and practiced.  The students collaborated with a colleague and used counters to complete a handout from Mr. Giomini.

• solve equations with integers using addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.  (1, 3, and 4°)
• plot points on a coordinate plane.  (1, 3, and 4°)
