Class Topics: 12.18.12

In Math Six today, students reviewed converting between fractions, decimals and percents.  Once that was done, we applied our knowledge of percents to story problems such as the one listed below:
  • Matthew has dinner at a restaurant with his family.  The bill comes and the total, with tax is $65.00.  His father wants to leave a tip that is equivalent to 18% of the bill, how much will the entire meal cost?
