Class Topics: 10.28.11

In EDM today, we completed an Active Expression quiz that covered the following skills:

• commutative property
• associative property
• distributive property
• multiplying decimals
• algebraic expressions

We then introduced unit rates for lesson 3.5.  Students completed Math Journal 98 in class and had additional homework for the weekend.

In Pre-Algebra today, we completed our Mid-Chapter Three Quiz.  The assessment will be the final grade of the first quarter.  We will take the Chapter Three Summative Assessment next Friday.  This will be the first grade of the second quarter.
