Class Topics: 10.19.11
In EDM today, we introduced Lesson 3.1 in Unit Three. The classes discussed the three main number properties: Commutative, Associative, and Distributive. A majority of our time was spent on the Commutative and Associative. Then we moved on to special cases where variables were assigned different values so that each side was equal.
In Pre-Algebra today, we completed our Discovery Education Benchmark Formative Assessment. This is a tool that we use to identify strengths and weaknesses in our different content standards: Number Sense, Geometry, Measurement, Data Analysis, and Patterns, Functions, and Algebra.
